Is Posture Important?

Most of us have a slight slump we are unaware of. Created by sitting at desks, binge watching our shows and simply using our phone. It causes us all to roll our shoulders forward, drop our heads, slightly open our mouths, and breathing shallow.

Over time, like with any practice, our body begins to “normalize” that posture. Because your body is magical, it will compensate to get you the resources it needs. Your muscles will adapt to that limited range of motion. Even if that causes you to less efficiently use your energy.

In short, creating an awareness to your posture can give you big gains. Simply by creating better ways to breathe and move. Giving you the foundation for focus and access to more energy.

When you’re trying to perform at your best, every ounce, every minute, every breath that more effectively uses resources and energy matters. You are already going hard at life. You need every resource you can get. Your posture is a great place to start.

Watch the following short video and practice better posture with me today. You begin where you begin.
