About Waffle
A peak at a private moment. 2013 - confused, but the riddle had begun.
You’re not broken. You’re adaptive. I just had to learn that the hard way.
Waffle began as a riddle I didn’t know how to solve.
After losing my dog Braddah—my anchor—I made him a promise: that I’d live. Not just keep going. But truly live.
At the time, I didn’t know how.
I knew I was technically alive.
But I wasn’t here. Not really.
So I started asking the question I couldn’t let go of:
How am I alive? And how did he do that?
What made Braddah able to reach me in a way no human ever could? And could I somehow recreate that from the inside out?
That question sent me into a strange and beautiful spiral of study, practice, and experimentation. Breathwork. Yoga Nidra / NSDR. Brainwaves. Sleep. Arousal. Fascia. Lymphatics. Mobility. Recovery. Light. Sensory input. Nervous system adaptation. Everything I explored kept pointing back to one thing:
2022 - Starting to understand the role of physiology and my well-being.
We don’t heal through performance.
We heal through physiology.
The body knows when it feels safe—and when it doesn’t.
And it turns out, Braddah was regulating me the entire time.
He was my map. My mirror. My rhythm.
Now, I use that same compass to help others come home to themselves. Through rest. Through breath. Through physiology.
And through one hell of a long story.
My favorite regulator
Waffle is not a brand. It’s a practice.
A place to explore what happens when you stop trying to fix yourself and start listening instead.
It’s the container that holds everything I’ve studied—and everything I’m still learning—about how the body works, and how we can partner with it instead of pushing against it.
It’s how I made peace with the mess of being human.
And how I started creating from it.
You’ll find offerings here—like private Yoga Nidra sessions, a 7-month course on embodied health, a free Nidra library, and even a sarcastic doll named Waldo (who’s been watching all of this unfold from my backpack).
But underneath it all is one driving force:
To share Big Braddah’s Love—through story, sensation, and the slow return to connection.
I’ll break time and space for you Big Bradds! I’m alive because of your Love.
If you’re here, maybe you’re curious. Maybe you’re exhausted. Maybe you’re wondering if there’s a different way to move through life.
I’m not a coach, a guru, or a scientist.
I’m just someone who learned—accidentally—how to stay.
This is Waffle.
An experiment in what’s possible when we stop performing and start paying attention.
You’re welcome to stay as long as you like.
With gratitude,
Robbie & Big Bradds
PS. Full disclosure: Adult language ahead. If that’s not your jam, no worries beef curries. Thanks for stopping by and giving Waffle a taste.
Certifications + Study
I’ve spent the past decade learning from some of the most thoughtful teachers in movement, recovery, and breathwork—not by chasing certifications, but by following the threads of what helps people feel better in their bodies (beginning with me).
My formal education includes a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and an internationally accredited breathwork certification from the School of Breath Science with Martin McPhilimey. I also hold training through the Functional Range Systems (FRC® and Kinstretch Levels I & II), The Roll Model® Method, and the Body by Breath Immersion through Yoga Tune Up®.
Beyond formal certs, I’ve pursued a variety of immersive, expert-led courses that have shaped how I teach and work with others. These include studies with Sh//ft (Art of Breath, Skill of Stress, N=1, and Shift Health), Stop Chasing Pain (focused on the lymphatic, vagus, and glymphatic systems), and more.
Some of these programs don’t issue credentials, and I’m okay with that. For me, it’s less about collecting pieces of paper and more about gaining the capacity to teach, support, and adapt to the real bodies in front of me.
This page isn’t a resume—it’s a reflection of my learning journey. For a full list of offerings or hiring-specific details, you can see my Price Sheet below or submit a request through Waffle’s Booking Inquiry Form.
