About Waffle
A peak at a private moment. 2013 - confused, but the riddle had begun.
“There’s nothing wrong with you. You’re not broken. You’re adaptive.”--I could intellectualize this but I just had to learn that the hard way.
Waffle began as a riddle I didn’t know how to solve. There have been many mistakes. Many iterations.
After losing my dog Braddah—my anchor—I made him a promise: that I’d thrive. Not just keep going or just surviving. But truly live.
At the time, I didn’t know how. Sometimes I’m still learning.
Before Bradds, I knew I was technically alive.
But I wasn’t here. Not really. When I decided I didn’t want to be here anymore a noticing question would haunt me, even till this day. I started asking the questions I couldn’t let go of:
How am I alive? What did he shift in me? And how can I repeat that for myself?
That question sent me into a strange and beautiful spiral of study, practice, and experimentation. Breathwork. Yoga Nidra / NSDR. Brainwaves. Sleep. Arousal. Fascia. Lymphatics. Mobility. Recovery. Light. Sensory input. Nervous system adaptation. Everything I explored kept pointing back to one thing:
2022 - Starting to understand the role of physiology and my well-being.
We don’t heal through performance.
We heal through our bodies felt sense of safety.
The body knows when it feels safe—and when it doesn’t.
And it turns out, Braddah was regulating me the entire time.
He was giving my body novel experiences from mapping my body with hikes to drain he’s energy. He mirrored my state–not my words.
Now, I use that same techniques I know in my heart of hearts saved my life. And I integrate them into everything I teach in honor of giving back what was given to me. To spread Big Bradds Love.
And through one hell of a long story.
My favorite regulator
Waffle became a practice.
A place to explore what happens when you stop trying to fix yourself and start listening instead.
It’s the container that holds everything I’ve studied—and everything I’m still learning—about how the body works, and how we can partner with it instead of pushing against it.
It’s how I made peace with the mess of being human.
And how I started creating from it. Regardless of where it would take me–including nowhere.
You’ll find offerings here—like private Yoga Nidra sessions, a 6-month performance lab for the embodied athlete, a free Nidra library, and even a sarcastic doll named Waldo (who’s been watching all of this unfold from my backpack).
I’ll break time and space for you Big Bradds! I’m alive because of your Love.
But underneath it all is one driving force:
To share Big Braddah’s Love—through story, sensation, and the slow return to connection.
I’m just someone who learned—accidentally—how to stay & squeeze a little more outta life..
This is Waffle.

Robbie Man maintains a worldwide accreditation for The Breath Science Certification by Martin McPhilimey, is a Level 2 Kinstretch™ Certified Instructor, Certified Roll Model Method Practitioner™, Certified in Body by Breath®, a FRCms™ (Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist), FRAms™ (Functional Range Assessment mobility specialist). She’s dived into the Lymphatic work from StopChasingPain™ and is a Certified Yoga Instructor with over 500 hrs of training and over 1000 teaching hrs. Her specialty is Yoga Nidra or NSDR (non-sleep deep rest) where she helps your body to function as one complex individualized system. Through her work with SHIFT, all of Robbie’s training led to a deeper understanding as someone who wants to spread the gift of Yoga Nidra.
Her driver is to pass on the lessons left by her dog Braddah, who in her opinion, did to her nervous system what she does for you in class.me.
