Building Awareness Around Your Cycles of Burnout

It doesn’t matter if we are discussing your breath, your movement, your recovery or your nutrition. We must all begin with the body we have in this moment in time.

A great place to start is acknowledging the nuance of your own individual biology. There really is no one like you! Even what is in you. You are made up of thousands of different species. Yes, that is wild.

We don’t even sense the same things–including color! In fact, we are still debating what it means to define “human”. If that doesn’t blow your mind I don’t know what will.

This is why it is so important to build a relationship with your body and your specific needs. Easier said than done. This is a process which is why we made a 6-month performance lab to help you discover what you need. It requires experimentation, mistakes and patience.

If you have tried everything you’ve seen online and still find yourself cycling through burnout, it may be because you’re not meeting your body where it's at. The needs your body is expressing to you through the physical, emotional and behavioral signs of burnout. That is your body trying to get your attention.

We all tend to work harder when the body is breaking down. Watch this short video and practice a short moment of awareness. That still small voice that arises when things quiet down is your internal universe trying to express to you what you need.
