Lavender Fields Forever - 20 min

Dancing between being a part of society while maintaining my own Agency can feel tricky. It still has a way of challenging me. This is the Nidra / NSDR I listen to when I’m trying to figure out that dance.

NOTE: If you have trauma with other people, this Nidra / NSDR may be best in cohesion with other therapeutic methods, like talking to your therapist.

The white door - 20 min

In the path of seeking how to Thrive, it can become easy to copy someone else’s path. I’m finding that in order to Thrive, I must allow myself to be myself. In any phase of life that I am in. Good, bad or indifferent. All my stories make me me. All my stories make me whole. My stories don’t allow me to only focus only on  light and love. All the versions of me are the whole me. These versions force me to look at my shadows and accept wherever I may be. Exactly in the same way my body works, it’s not “either/or”. It’s about the complexity – all of the versions of me creating the whole. This Nidra / NSDR allows me to look at all of myself gently.

drop of water - 20 min

I love stories about transition and transformation. Nature has so many examples. My life has had many phases. All of which has required me to be fluid with the experience. Sometimes allowing myself the pleasure of enjoying the ride is the most challenging aspect for me. I wrote this Nidra / NSDR to help assist me in learning to enjoy the cycle of life, as a drop of water.

The Landscape of you - 20 min

Our bodies are so strange. The stages and forms our bodies take from in utero, to infants, toddlers, teens, young adults, adults  to the elderly. All one person. Many different forms. Many different seasons. Many different landscapes. I went on a solo road trip for an entire month, living out of my car, camping, & paying attention to Nature. The biggest and most obvious lesson (when I got quiet & still) was Nature’s NEED for diversity. A Nidra / NSDR that guides me along every curve, every mountain, and every river of my own body. To accept the landscape that is me.

light of the moon - 20 min

I’m constantly needing the reminder that 1% is enough. One step at a time. To have faith that the light of the moon is enough to light the way. A spark is enough to guide. Extravagance is not needed. Simplicity and consistency contain a power I can tend to take advantage of. When I feel overwhelmed I listen to this Nidra / NSDR. To remind me… one step at a time is enough. I’m exactly where I need to be in this moment.

You are a lion - 26 min

How do you find your tribe when you’ve learned how to be a certain way, attracting the same kind of people? First, you must find your own roar. Your own self. Only when I’ve been able to play and allow myself to be myself have I been able to find my true tribe. From the roar within that I did not even realize existed. That soundwave becomes a beacon of light that your true tribe will recognize and come your way. This Nidra / NSDR reminds me to claim my space, that I am a Lion, like Bradds.

to the north - 20 min

Discernment comes from the coo coo banana signals of the ever-evolving body. Which means ever-changing needs and desires. How does one have discernment with navigation amongst so much chaos? This Nidra / NSDR is my reminder to cast a wide net to better the health of my whole body. Through that, discernment rises, nudging me TO THE NORTH (you have to say that gutturally).

IRONMAN - 20 MIN

How do you support someone you know who is pursuing Ironman? Well you write him a Nidra / NSDR to give him superpowers. Just kidding about the superpowers, but not really either. A goal like Ironman is so big that it’s accomplished by one small task at a time. Followed by one more and one more and one more. Ironman doesn’t happen overnight. It happens when you put forth the effort to create yourself a solid foundation. To everyone pursuing the long game. You are ready for Ironman!

What if all the options and possibilities bury me with anxiety? What if I have more questions than answers? What if I’m having a difficult time feeling my body? What if I’m struggling to understand how the relationship I cultivate with my body provides discernment to my choices? This is a Nidra / NSDR that helps remind me of what my ‘Yes’s’ and ‘No’s’ feel like. From my body’s perspective. So I can Thaw from the overwhelm of my list of “What if’s” and take action.

THE MOTHER TREE - 20 MIN

The inspiration of this Nidra / NSDR includes stories about my friend's mom and how she showed up for her kids. It made me think about the trees in the forest that are known as “Mother Trees”. Described in Scientific America as “...the glue that holds the forest together.” They are the biggest and oldest of the trees. They learn and remember and are intelligent. They help our forests recover and help manage resilience, biodiversity and health. If these Mother Trees could talk to you, what would your body hear? What nourishment would you absorb into your roots? Build resilience through nurturing your body.
